aged 34 years, decided 2016 was the one to beat all records. She has progressively improved over the year running mainly in the UK as an online client, but using work-trips to Sydney as her ’training camps’. She came 4th (first in age group) in the hilly Lindfield 10k in early April (43:02), followed by a WIN at the London Battersea Park 10k (40:48) smashing her PB by 1min10sec. After a 3k PB at training (11:02), and some coaching encouragement, she hit the Gold Coast Airport 10k aiming for that elusive long-term goal: Sub 40. Amy nailed her goal time in 39:42, and the next day passed her incredibly difficult final examinations to be a fellow in the Australian - NZ College of Veterinary Scientists.
