It has been a wonderful last few days of racing and training
for Melbourne Packers.
Today saw 30 runners work together to get their Sunday run
done between Carrum and South Frankston on the coastal
trail. Several made the return journey to the top of
Oliver’s Hill and return and some went even longer. Drinks
were enjoyed at Crackajacks Cafe right next to the finish
area after the run.
The Victorian 5000m Championships were at Box Hill on
Thursday night. Nikki Lesberg was 11th in the A race (and

unjustly sustained just months ago.
