aged 23, has some solid race performances in 2016. He competed at the Launceston 10 Australian National champs in June running a new PB 30:19 This time placed him top 15th in the open age group. In July the 7th Dejen came 18th in the Australian National half marathon champs in Gold Coast, where he ran 69:22.
